چکیده

Thyroid hormones physiologically regulate the semen quality, by altering testosterone concentrations, and different seminal parameters, as well sperm motility, viability volume. Serum thyroxine (T4), free (fT4), thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) (T) concentrations were measured in 26 adult Labrador Retriever dogs (n. 20 normospermic n. 6 azoospermic groups), aged 3 ± 0.5 years old, to determine their specific references, taking into account related conventional kinematic parameters clinical ultrasound evaluations. The mean values of T4, fT4, TSH T soon those evaluations group line with dog’s physiological range literature data. Normospermic showed significant correlations between T4 (r = −0.681; p < .01), progressive motility (%) −0.623; non-progressive 0.625; .02). higher lower compared group, a positive correlation 0.8548; .046). use breed-specific hormonal ranges will improve knowledge interaction dogs, adding new segment scientific literature.HighlightsThyroxine thyroid stimulating male dogs.Conventional also evaluated.Dogs divided Retrivers.Azoospermic normospermicUse literature.

Reference values of M-mode echocardiographic parameters and indices in conscious Labrador Retriever dogs

Breed-wise standard echocardiographic values in dogs have been reported as there is variation in body and chest conformation which limits the application of data of one breed for other breed. Labrador Retrievers being originated from hunting dogs, might have different echocardiographic values from standard normal range of other dog breeds. So, the present study was aimed to determine the M-mode...
